#workinprogress – Milano never stops: PHARO, EDGE, U1 and U3

Construction sites in constant movement are the true sign of the will of a city that does not accept to stop and continues its decisive path towards progress and change, aimed at a more sustainable future starting from the workplace. In this positive scenario are some of the main construction sites managed by General Planning, which have been redefining the face of the city in recent months.

 

PHARO Via Gattamelata, Milano – Kryalos SGR

The project located in an important area for urban development in Milan, Citylife – Portello area, involves the construction of a new office complex divided into 3 buildings for a total area of ​​33,000 sqm. The new “pharo” in Milan aims to obtain LEED Gold certification by respecting the most advanced criteria of eco-compatibility and energy efficiency. For this project General Planning is dealing with the design and consultancy for structures, systems and fire prevention and construction and safety management.

EDGE Viale Sturzo, Milano – Antirion SGR

The redevelopment and demolition works of the ED.G.E. Garibaldi Executive buildings, new office complex in the Porta Nuova business district continue at a fast pace. The building that aims to obtain LEED and Wiredscore certifications will be home to the Italian Headquarters of Oracle, Novartis, Alcon and Astellas Pharma.

U1 and U3 Milanofiori Assago (MI) – Milanofiori Sviluppo Srl

Work is in full swing in the two Milanofiori Nord construction sites in Assago. The structures have been completed while the facades and main systems are under construction. The procedures for obtaining LEED Gold level certifications are also underway for these buildings and for U3 also the WELL certification.
