The OM Still Company, founded in 2011 by the fusion between OM and the German group STILL, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of forklift trucks, has decided to invest in the renewal and expansion of its headquarters in Lainate.
On the occasion of its centenary, the Company commissioned General Planning to build a permanent museum dedicated to the OM brand and the creation of entrance and reception areas.
The exhibition runs along a corridor where a Time Line has been set up, through images, photographic records and documents that tells the story of the Society from birth in 1917 to the present day. Within the museum space there are also some of the best-selling machines of the historic OM brand, as well as video presentation of products that are projected on the wall. On the walls there are OM’s historical images, they are a scenery for the layout.
The entrance to the building and the exhibition path is highlighted by a metal structure projecting the same color as the OM Still logo that invites visitors to enter.
